another anime adapted from key’s visual novel.

out of clannad, kanon and air.

i think i like air most. (clannad is not exactly in the same league as air and kanon, more like same as lucky star for me)

story’s the most ’solid’ i’d say. it is only a short 12 ep anime but the story is quite well told. starting of the eps were ok for me but i found myself more and more drawn towards the end of the story. i dunno if you call twist but the… ok back story was very nice imo and elaborate. the fantasy in the story was very acceptable. more so than kanon because kanon’s fantasy looks… injected. like mai’s arc feels kinda awkward.

cut story short. it’s a romance anime with some fantasy in it. quite a sad anime, which is quite different from kanon and clannad to some extent. ending can be confusing but i think it’s still pretty solid.

characters are ok. i’m not particularly attracted to any characters inside. but the overall story is really nice.

my favorite characters from the 3 series are fuko and nayuki. showed fuko before so now show nayuki.
